Once upon a long, long, long time ago, I was an electronics technician.
I am looking at getting back into building some things.
I have my tech license and I am wanting to set up my first ham shack.
I figured I would start by building a power supply and work my way up from there.
What are some of the parameters that you would recommend for a power supply that I can use to power most if not all of what I will need ? Voltage? Amperage? Will 5 amps be enough or should I go higher? Do most radios and tuners run on 12vdc? As you can see I have more than a few questions.
Thanks for your help.

Thanks. That is a good starting point.
I have not decided on witch radio to start with yet.
I am thinking may 10 amps. That should handle pretty much anything,
Thanks again
