I have a very low, do-it-all antenna and I've noticed that sometimes especially when it's raining (?) it won't even tune up.  I'm guessing that 17 is one of it's weakest bands.

Well I just got W1AW/1 in MA on 17 meters - 18.124 up 3 so something's working.  Right now I can tune up on anything.

I'm still on 18.134. ND0SB caught me and I'm rag chewing with him.

I hear Dave in SD great. Are you on the vertical?  We may be to close for this band.

Yes the vertical is all I have. Want to try another band? I've hot about a half hour to try do if you'll pick a frequency I'll tune it up.
