Nothing works better! Welcome aboard :)

I couldn't agree more! Welcome to the forum Andy.
Something about low power, high efficiency that I like - especially when I have to carry my radio on my back and re-charge it in the field. Electrons are generally inexpensive, but MAN are they HEAVY! Best to be very efficient in the comms modes used.

Funny thing is, I nerver intended for Morse code to be so prominent on this site. All kinds of radio talks are welcome of course. I even never thought I would learn the code myself. The strict requirements of low-weight low-current portable operations made it pretty much the only choice for me... You mileage may vary...

Funny how things work out that way sometimes. Of course it should come as no surprise, the efficiency of CW will always make it rise to the top of all modes.
