So far I've been able to track aircraft like radar, cover everything from about 30mhz up to somewhere in the neighborhood of roughly 1700 mhz.
AM,FM Wide, FM narrow, double sideband, SSB upper and lower, CW, all with just the $10-$20 TV dongle.

Added the $50 upconverter and extended coverage from MW AM broadcast thru 30mhz with the features of a high end receiver.  You actually have to crank way back on the gain to keep the SW church channels from bleeding all over the band. It's really quite impressive.

I'm just a lightweight newbie to SDR. There's several others here one of which is a former crusty ole pirate whose initials are RR that is far more advanced. I've even seen a video where he managed to stuff it all into a pipe tobacco tin.

It's only because I'm such an honorable person I won't reveal the true identity of this mysterious RR.  ::)

Lleytzbassett, please DO NOT post links to commercial sites unrelated to radio. I also saw another post from you asking a very broad question... Alarm bells are ringing around my head already... If you are legitimately interested in radio, then welcome :) If you are not, then know that you will not be able to sell or promote anything here nor swindle anyone...

Have a great day,

Gil.
