The SotaBeams Valley Tuner is the only one I know capable of tuning a half-wave wire on 80m. I bought 135ft of #534 from The Wireman, which is a 26AWG copper-clad steel wire with a breaking strength of 25lbs. The SotaBeams tuner is a simple transformer with an adjustable capacitor and a maximum power of 6W.

The link for the Valley Tuner doesn't work and I can't find the Valley on their web site.  I think they discontinued it :-\

Gil, do you know if it uses the same variable cap as the Mountain tuner and just more transformer inductance?

Hi Bob, it probably does, with the two sections in parallel...

Too bad they stopped selling it, there aren't many 80 end-fed tuners around. Maybe because it is not easy to get a good SWR with it, which I am starting to notice...
