Title: New HAM from Boston Saying Hello
Post by: Mark on March 19, 2018, 09:53:10 AM
Hi Everyone,

I'm a new HAM that joined the radiopreppers forum today. I got my ticket in mid February.

My reason was for disaster preparedness. Now I'm studying digital modes VHF & HF that could be used in a grid-down scenario.

I have an F8HP that I'm learning with.

Gil, thanks for the site! I appreciate you creating a forum that is designed to empower the individual HAM, rather than organizations, that may or may not have our best interest in mind.

Mark
