Title: Running 'Barefoot' ?
Post by: RadioRay on August 27, 2014, 10:09:08 PM
Well, so is THIS fellow and I think that he is standing his ground well. His feet are planted firmly on the ground. He's not a heel, but he is an arch ham radio operator...  OK - you get the picture.  Follow the link.

I like the Dutch - great sense of humor.

Great! Another proof, if any was ever needed, that you don't need 100W or more to make contact. CW rocks! I think the 5W QRP level is really ideal for most situations, and 2-3W is mostly enough. In my book, 100mW to 1.5W is QRP, 2-5W is normal, and 10-12W is QRO. Of course 5W CW is like 100W voice.

That radio with the morse key built into the top of it is clever.
