Spotted this while roaming the web.

I hope someone will be able to build a little exciter for their AM Radios using nothing but discrete components.

Hopefully also there will be AM Broadcasters spring up out of the ground in post-apocalyptia.

Would appreciate someone posting a better schematic or design, something with a low pass filter integrated into the design.

Interesting, thanks. The ideal antenna for something around 1700kHz would be 275ft. Even 100mW could cover quite a bit with a half-wave wire... That might be illegal though. Those part-15 transmitters are basically made to transmit throughout your house. Realtors use them to broadcast info about houses for sale... Park in front and tune to the frequency on the sign...
