Title: Best brand of LIPO batteries?
Post by: gil on December 07, 2014, 04:28:22 PM
Ok guys, I might give LIPOs another try. Just in case the ones I bought from Hobby King were a bad brand. They were Rhino or Zippy, can't remember. There was always one cell going bad, which prevented the charger from recharging the 3S pack. My theory was that they didn't like a slow discharge... Yes, I did have a voltage monitor for each cell... Didn't prevent the problem... I need 3S, 800mAh to, say 2200mAh.

So, what have you guys used, and what is the best LIPO brand out there and where do I get them?

Gil.

Gil,
I myself am on the hunt for a good LiPO battery pack.
Not sure if you ran across this site, but I think I will be going this rout.
Sure it's a little expensive, but I believe you get what you pay for.

Thanks PuJo,

Their 4Ah pack is bigger than my radio :o just... But man, would it last forever with that capacity! The price is a bit stiff indeed...
