On the air tonight.
« on: May 13, 2015, 09:15:43 PM »
Hello,

Here is a thread to announce one's intention to be on the air tonight!
Give the mode, frequency and try to make contact..

Tonight I have my K1, MTR, and Rock-Mite 40 on 7029 or thereabout.

Gil.

I barely heard you at about 10:30.  Weak with tons of QRM and some QSB.  I shot you my call a few times, but if you heard me I couldn't hear a reply.

Yes.  7029 seems quieter now.

This should be a sticky :)  I wish I had a 40m atenna so I could read the mail.  I put up a "stealth" 20m dipole here at work and can't change it. :(

Another vote for the buddistick :)

Well that was hard work ;D .  I was pressing the headphones against my head and had my eyes closed and was able to copy you most of the time.  Your last transmission went away with the QSB and I got one letter out of about 5.  After my sign-off I heard all of your sign-off though.

Bummer I missed you Gil. I was outside playing with my new MTR and wasn't checking the forum. I'm still outside playin with my MTR if someone wants to give a shout out. I've got it on 40 meters at the moment.

Hello,

Well, this morning I will be at a local park doing a demo for a prepper group. I'll try to park my MTR on 14060 while I move around with the K1.. Not sure if I'll be able to use two radios.. In any case, I'll try to go back to 14060 regularly.. The whole thing might spill into the afternoon..
