Title: No More Rock Mite
Post by: KF5WCK on October 12, 2013, 12:57:20 AM
Dave Benson announced yesterday that he has retired and and is closing down Small Wonders Labs. No more orders for the Rock Mite will taken. He said that another QRP builder may take up the Rock Mite in the future. Not what I planned for my first post here.

W1REX at qrpme.com (http://qrpme.com) will be taken it over in a few weeks. He just needs time to ramp up production on them before he can offer them.

Bad news cancelled out by good news. 8)

As a side note, I've been eyeing the meSQUAREs at QRPme (http://qrpme.com/?p=product&id=MES) for a while now. Manhattan style is by far my absolute favorite method of building circuits and meSQUAREs look to be a whole lot faster and easier than hand cutting squares from PCB.
