Title: CHIRP question
Post by: Tobiah on August 16, 2020, 04:53:02 PM
Hey all! Hope someone familiar with CHIRP can help me out with an uncertainty... I'm working off a list of Indiana repeaters from Repeaterbook.com. In the "Tone up/Tone down" column, some of them have the same tone twice, meaning I think that there's a Tx and Rx tone. Question is, am I supposed to set the tone mode to TSQL? that's what I've been doing. I live rural, and I'm still putting together my gear, have not had the opportunity yet to test any of these repeaters. Thanks!

Hello. I only set the TX CTCSS tone. You don't really need the RX tone except if there are interferences on the same frequency. I do not set the TSQL tone...
