Nice.

I got a small Pelican 1060 for my MTR-3B.  It will hold the radio, batteries, EFHW coupler, ear buds and a handful of other little things.  What kills me is the case weighs as much as everything in it.  It's bomb-proof, but for some hikes where I know the weather is going to be good, I have a school kid's pencil case from Staples that's about the same size and weighs about 2oz that I will use.

Here's the 1060 case with everything, plus the kitchen sink.  Starting at noon, going clockwise:
Piece of blue foam is a snug fit and helps keep the radio from sliding around.
- 9V battery connector, just in case
- 2 battery boxes, each containing 3 AA sized 3.2V LiFePo4 600mAh batteries.  I can operate for probably 8hrs on each box.
- Blue box is a Tayloe bridge SWR indicator, just in case.
- QRPguys key, though the MTR has a touch keyer built in.
- Ear buds and in-line volume control($8.25 prime from Amazon)
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B008DJTB32/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
- Electrical tape
- Coax adapters
- Tiny DVM just in case ($2.62)

- Duct tape
- EFHW coupler (home brew QRP similar to LNR Precision's)

The antenna wire and 300' of 100lb mason's cord weigh about 9oz.  The box full of crap weighs about 2.5lbs.  If I strip everything down to bare essentials, no box and 1 battery pack it weighs 15oz including the antenna and mason's line. 8)

If you're wondering why my MTR turned green in this photo, check the Technical Corner in a while.  It's a protective cover.
