I am reading it right now.  You have a good writing style, Gil.  I 'see' the story as I read it, and that's a rare ability to write that way.

Later:  Finished the book.  Even if this wasn't Gil's book, I'd highly recommend it.  A very good read, especially for those of us predisposed to enjoying Post-Apoc novels, which I am.
