My partner and I are organizing a ten-day remote stay next season. On the communications and power side, we have our basic radio setup and solar panels ready thanks to the helpful threads on this board. However, we face a specific logistical issue: my partner needs to stay connected periodically to run live diagnostic tests and monitor interactive web dashboards for work.

As many know, due to health problems and death, the wonderful site QRPguys.com has closed its business.

En retraite d'une carrière dans l'aéronautique, j'ai passé une bonne partie de ma vie à l'étranger dans des contrées difficiles. La préparation aux situations hors "normes européennes" est obligatoire.
La communication est essentielle, l'autonomie est nécessaire mais l'appartenance à un groupe reste la seule voie pour survivre un minimum de temps dans l'attente de l'amélioration.

Hi everybody! I just got this radio. It powers up. Drain on standby is fine like 0.25A. But i only have faint audio on A3 mode. There is no difference on having antenna or not. So far I have seen this weird cut cable. Is anyone able to check on their radio where it should be connected to?

I updated the forum software to SMF 2.1.7 from 2.1.4.
